I qualified as an R.A.N.A back in the day when nurses had to wear dresses and cardboard hats. Returning to veterinary nursing after a twenty year sabatical, I was relieved to find out that vet nurses no longer have to wear dresses and silly hats. During my time away from vet nursing, I worked in the equine industry, so never far from my vocation. I joined the Barn Veterinary Practice recently and I have fully embraced the life of a veterinary nurse, and it feels like I never left the field. I love all aspects of veterinary nursing, but I have a special interest in anaesthesia. In my free time I like to hike mountains with my best buddy, a Jack Russell cross, or ride my crazy Anglo Arab.
