Position: Veterinary Surgeon (Clinical Director)
After qualifying from the Royal Veterinary College in 2012 I’ve worked at the Barn ever since. I’ve recently taken on the role of Clinical Director which means I’m responsible for the smooth running of the practice along with the Practice Manager. My main areas of interest are small animal surgery and equine ambulatory practice. Outside of work I enjoy long walks with my Bloodhound, clay shooting and traveling.

Position: Locum Veterinary Surgeon
I graduated from Bristol in 1978 and have been in practice since then. After several years in mixed practice the toll on my body meant I decided to downsize to small animal practice. I have 2 grown up daughters and 2 gorgeous chocolate labradors - I even breed the odd litter and so am always happy to advise on any breeding issues. In my spare time I take ’Dora,’ the youngest Labrador, to gundog training classes and also used to ride regularly until the bones became too fragile!

Position: Veterinary Surgeon
I graduated from Bristol University in 2017, after completing an externship at Liphook Equine Hospital. I have an interest in small animal surgery and equine medicine. Outside of work I am a keen runner, horse rider and baker. To combine my love of travel and enthusiasm for surgery I go on yearly excursions for a small neutering charity, ’Spay Sisters.’

Position: Veterinary Surgeon
I graduated from the University of Extremadura in Spain, in 2018, during my degree I spent one year in Poland at the University of Warmia and Mazury. I am grateful to be part of this great team to continue developing my skills as a veterinarian. As I am interested on all kinds of animals, mixed practice is the perfect opportunity to continue learning from all sizes animals. I consider myself a travel lover, in addition to being with my friends and pets, in my free time I used to participate as a volunteer in different shelters in Spain

Position: Veterinary Surgeon
I graduated from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, Edinburgh, in 2018 and I am delighted to be back in Suffolk, where I was born and bred, and working at The Barn! I enjoy the variety of a mixed practice and I have a special interest in equine medicine (I was fortunate to win the “Best Equine Student” prize at Edinburgh). I hope to be able to contribute to developing the equine services that we can offer whilst playing a full part in the small animal work. I keep myself fit by playing squash and surfing but mostly by taking my black Labrador, Lachlan, on long walks.
