At the Barn Veterinary Practice our aim is to give our clients access to a complete range of healthcare services for the benefit of their animals. From routine nutritional advice, preventative health care to 24 hour emergency care for the critically ill. |
Reception Our friendly, trained reception team at both surgeries are able to deal with and advise on many aspects of your pet’s care, or where appropriate, hand the matter over to a veterinary surgeon or nurse. |

Consultations Veterinary consultations are arranged on an appointment basis for your convenience. Our consulting rooms are well equipped with diagnostic equipment. Your pet’s clinical records will be available on any of our computers via our networked computer system ensuring all vets and nurses are knowledgeable on your pet’s history. |
Nurse Clinics At the Barn Veterinary Practice we have a high number of fully qualified nurses on hand to provide nurse clinics to address a wide variety of preventative healthcare issues. In the majority of cases, nurse clinics are free of charge. Appointments are usually made at a mutually convenient time. Please click here to find out more about our nurse clinics |
Visits If circumstances make a visit to the practice difficult, we are able to provide house visits. As visits can take a considerable time, it is advised that visits are booked well in advance to ensure a vet can make the time slot allocated. We do stress that in most cases, a pet needing veterinary attention can be dealt with far more efficiently at the surgery due to having a wide range of facilities, treatments and nurses on hand. While the majority of our equine patients are attended to at the premises at which they are stabled, we can see equine patients at our Copdock surgery. |

Pet Passport/Export Certificates Most of our vets are government approved ’Official Veterinarians’ who have the authority to issue PET Passports enabling your pet to travel to other countries. We are also able to undertake the appropriate certification for animals being exported outside the Passport scheme. |
